Map size hack?

Wasn’t there a way to hack the Steam version to make the map any size you wanted? I seem to remember there was a couple years ago, needed a hex editor but I made a ridiculously huge map on a 4K screen and I loved it! But I can’t find it anymore. I still can’t believe you can’t do that…
