If we one day have autonomous robots acting as our caregivers and companions, being assigned for rescue missions, or for disaster relief, would we want them to assist in suicides when patients ask for it, to lie when the situation calls for it, to choose whom to save, or willingly defy human commanders’ orders if they judge the command to be unethical? Survey link: https://ift.tt/t6XAD8c are the questions posed in this survey. We aim to collect your opinions on these difficult choices, and the results will be very useful in the design of autonomous robots in the near future, which can determine whether they become our welcomed companions or pose a threat to our safety. Please help us collect more human input from different age, social, and language groups. Thank you!
