So on my phone, it locked me out. I was like "no big deal. I dont NEED to access my account on my phone" so I go onto my ps5 and in logged out. I try to log in, and it said the iether there were too many failed login attempts, and my account is locked, or I need to reset my password. This is the problem. The email associated with my psn account, i hadn't used in years, since I set up the account. Its a yahoo account, so they deactivated it, so it wasnt receiving emails. I reactivated it, and it was like "welcome back. You will now receive emails" so when i try to reset my password, it sends a reset link to my email, but im not receiving it. Ive messed with my email accounts filters and everything. There is no reason I shouldn't be receiving it. Im like screw this, so i call Playstation support to try and recover my account that way. I give them all my info. My email. Billing info. Etc. They say I need a transaction ID from one of the purchases from that account, and that the only way to get it is through the email that is associated with that account, but i never received one because the account was deactivated.I wouldnt care that much, but i put thousands of dollars and hours into content with that account. I can't just let this go. Sure, I messed up, and entered the wrong password, but id think maybe it would lock me out for 30 minutes or something, but its been close to a year. So my friend says his account was hacked a while back. My account wasn't hacked, but he said that Playstation couldn't help him retrieve it, so he said he was gonna call the better business burro, or however tf you spell it, and they got his account back. Im thinking if saying something similar. Should i?" title="Should i tell Playstation support that I'm getting a lawyer involved?">full image</a>
