I have been to Rome before and really only want to grab lunch/GF pastries and take a shower. I found some options on this sub, but need more info if it's out there! I'll have my hardside carry-on and a large tote, and flying business so hopefully I get out of the airport super quick.Book a treatment at Palazzo Montemartini Spa - would they be able to store my luggage, if not the whole time, just for my time in the spa? I'd be happy to do this if so, or maybe I can do luggage storage at Termini and only take a smaller bag to the spa & lunch. Thinking I would book a 30 min service at 11 or 11:30 to be safe. I've done something similar with QC Terme, but I wasn't on a time crunch. HelloSky Showers at FCO + luggage storage at Termini (done this before) - but do you have to book HelloSky showers in advance (on my date I couldn't)? Are they usually booked/busy if you just show up?Book a hotel with DayUse - Hotel Villa Delle Rose, Hotel Marco Polo, or UNA Hotels Decò Roma all have times that could work. I've never done day use & I'm from somewhere where it is usually for different purposes than what I am looking for 🙃. All of the hotels are really hotels, it seems like. I think booking a regular hotel would be a waste as I'd need to do two nights. I do have status at IHG via CSR if there's some secret hack there.I was entered Romania on April 8th this year and they scanned my fingerprints - hoping that makes me a return traveler and I can I use that line to enter Italy.
