Blaze Black/Volt White?

Recently picked up a DS cartridge from amazon with hundreds of games, its got all the pokemon titles from that era but i just realized when i go into black 2 or white 2 the games load into the romhacks, are they a lot different/harder from the main line? Not a lot of previous experience with hacks.
