Hi, I have an old Microsoft account that didn't have much in it(mainly used it for xbox game pass years ago). Old address, expired payment methods, very old photos from an old phone from like over ten years ago and some general documents(nothing tax related or anything else thats PII). I got a text from Microsoft telling me that someone might of gained access to my account. i used my PC and logged on to it from there not the link in the text and checked and sure enough cote d'lvoire and italy was on there. I don't think they made it past MFA but cant be sure. I had MFA enabled and login notifications on which never went to my email or my phone(yes the account had the correct accounts to send such notices). i immediately got into the account and was able to change my password to a 16 digit password and deleted the account. I looked my recent files in onedrive page and nothing was opened or edited. but it looks like they added a tablet to the account maybe? I deleted the device from the account before closing the account. I should be okay, right?
