If you want perfectly sharp edges but don’t want to deal with painter’s tape, here’s a trick I use on jobs:Use a high-quality angled brush and “cut in” with the brush loaded halfway.Don’t overload it. Place the brush about half an inch away from the corner, then slowly glide it toward the edge while pulling the brush in one steady motion. The key is pressure control — light pressure near the edge, normal pressure when moving away.With a bit of practice, your lines will come out cleaner than with tape — and you won’t risk pulling up fresh paint when removing tape.
