Hacks/Products To Make Life Easier?

full image - Repost: Hacks/Products To Make Life Easier? (from Reddit.com, Hacks/Products To Make Life Easier?)
I posted the other day about the shock news my wife and I received of having twins (we already have a toddler who will be 3.5 when the twins arrive). My wife was really struggling to process the news - in part because she is a multiple herself but has a mother who has frequently told her that having multiples was effectively the end of her life in the sense of being able to enjoy it, and it will prevent her from doing what she wants to do. In our 15 years together I've never seen her so low. Time to think etc has made her come around to wanting to continue the pregnancy. So our minds are turning to the practical aspects. Not "should we do this" but "how do we make it work". For context, I run a business that provides most of the family's income and so am not entitled to any paternal leave. I'll do some reduced hour work for the first period of time but we are both in agreement that I need to keep the wheels turning to keep the family fed and housed, and reduce pressure on my wife to need to return to work. With that, I want to know what hacks (products, services etc) make life noticeably easier as a multiple parent, particularly if you already have an older child. I appreciate this is a privileged thing to say, but we are lucky enough to be in a position where we have some money to spare on products/services that truly make life easier and more manageable, especially in the first 6 months (which is what we are both most worried about as our toddler was tough as hell for the first 6 months until she was sleep trained and then life became instantly easier overnight) For example, if you purchased or rented one of those magic bassinets that rocks the baby (think it's called a "Snoo"?) was that worth it? What about paying a couple of nights a week for a night nurse to get proper sleep? Where I live you get some money from the government for the first year to help pay for nannying, house cleaning or whatever but we have to pick how its spent so not sure what's most valuable? I'm not made of money but happy to completely reproritize spending/saving for the first 6-12 months just to make the newborn/young infant stage as easy as possible. E.g. I've got a nice car which was a "dream purchase" for achieving some business goals, but as it's utterly impractical for 3 kids I'll have it listed for sale the second we get a good 12 week scan, and I can repurpose the money to paying for support and multiple-friendly products.Any tips/tricks/advice is welcome.
