My instagram account got hacked into the other week and it seems like ive tried every available option to try and get back into. Its now at the point that it look like my account has been deleted and instagram won't even send me confirmation emails anymore. I've tried help from friend, the selfie verification option and i've even tried to email them through their privacy right case and won't even get emails back on that.I was able to get the selfie verification option to to work one once and then I got kicked out of my account again within minutes. my username got changed (luckily I know what it got changed to) and now when I try to look up my account on a different account it says the user isn't found. I think the hackers might have gone in the second time and just deleted my account but instagram still gives me the option to recover it. When I go through the process of submitting a selfie video it still pulls up my profile picture. i'm able to get all the way to the end and submit a video. the app even tells me that they've received it but when I go to check my email for the confirmation it never comes. i've waited hours and the recommended 3-4 days waiting for an email from them and it doesn't come. i've submitted multiple videos and none of them receive the confirmation emails. i've even tried other devices but any other device I use will only give me the option for 2 factor authentication which I obviously don't have. i've read how other people will at least get a denial email but I don't even get that. it's like the app says it got received but then gets stuck somewhere before they can actually review it and the confirmation email never comes. i'm at a loss for what to do. is there any other way to get back into my account? or something i'm doing wrong and that's why i'm not receiving the confirmation emails? I wish instagram had someone I could talk to on the phone but everything I go to directs me to the help center which doesn't help and the customer service number they use to have just hangs up on you. If anyone knows how to get around this I would love any and all ideas that I haven't tried yet.
