Why is nobody talking about the Hack that just happened at PlayStation after the outage the other day?

Both my account and my girlfriend’s were hacked early this morning through PlayStation. The hackers were able to access our personal information like our credit and debit card numbers and made multiple PlayStation purchases on another account. I received no emails for the purchase. This clearly has to be related to the server crash that happened the other day, as there is no common denominator between my info that got stolen and my girlfriends. We didn’t use both of our credit cards at the same location in person, there’s nothing else that this can trace back to. They even enable 2FA using my girlfriend’s phone number to lock her out of her account.Despite all of this. There is absolutely zero news about this issue anywhere. I found one single commenter when googling that has the same issue as a result of this crash. Clearly there are people affected by this hack, yet Sony has not even made a statement on it, nor even admitted they were hacked at all
