What should I do?

I have learned c++, a prerequisite I thought essential to learning reverse engineering games. I’ve tried following many tutorials and books, like Nick Cano’s game hacking book. I don’t follow the book very well, despite having a great grasp of c++. I have no idea where to go or what to do. Any book or resource reccomendations to really begin learning game RE?
