Bitcoin and people who misunderstand "inflation"

full image - Repost: Bitcoin and people who misunderstand "inflation" (from Reddit.com, Bitcoin and people who misunderstand "inflation")
Lately so many people complain about rising prices, rightfully so.People used to blame the war in Ukraine, at least here in Europe, as far as I can tell. However lately it seems the narrative has changed. For example blaming a small solo owner of a local bar, for increasing the price of a beer because they are assumed to be greedy and that it's their choice to raise prices.First and foremost, people need to understand our currency is being debased all the time and that we are all in the same boat. This realization could take weeks or even years for some people. These days when the inflation subject comes up, I start by casually giving some facts about "brrrrrrrrrrr" like the dropped gold standard, government debt, fractional banking etc. Wait till they are ready for the orange pill, or bring up bitcoin themselves. Only then expand into P2P, self custody, immutability, pseudo anonymity and so on. Or not talk about bitcoin at all and let them do the work, most people hate to be lectured and are stubborn, myself included I'm afraid.Just wanted to share this experience, don't be too passionate, it can backfire. It's only a matter of time before we go back to the moon, take some popcorn and enjoy the show. The network is growing, the consensus is strong, the software is super solid. Big thanks to all the devs, miners and fellow users.
