I started in crypto roughly 2 years ago, I was watching some videos in youtube about programming and one programmer from one of these videos started to talk about crypto, specifically about Shiba in and the big gains that some people made before it pumped. It wasn't the first time I heard about crypto, a couple of years ago I heard about bitcoin, but I never felt interested on it because that world looks pretty odd and difficult to understand for me.Well, after the Shiba inu video, I felt curiosity about crypto and I began to investigate more about this world. At the beggining I felt overwhelming with all the info about crypto, there were many terms or process that I didn't understand as DEX, CEX, metamask, blockchains, etc. All that stuff was so confused!I spent many days learning about crypto and one day I decided to download some CEX app in my cellphone and I bought some cryptos. I felt so happy and I really wanted to buy many cryptos from that exchange. I felt like a kid whom want all the toys from the store :) Some months later I started to invest in NFTs as well, but that's a subject for another post.How was my experience during this 2 years? Honestly, I lost money, specially in NFT projects; do I feel some regrets?? Well, nobody likes to lose money, but I never spent more money that I could afford and I think I'm doing things much better than 2 years ago.What I learned about this experience? 3 things: - All the investments carry riks, specially crypto investments. - Never follow influencers or "gurus" advices, they are paid for brands, projects or companies to make you believe something that's not real. - Information, knowledge and experience are your best tools in any kind of investments.Should you invest in crypto? That's your own decision, don't trust in anybody, specially in people or projects that offer you big profits, 100% of these stuffs are scams. Why I decided to invest in crypto? At the begging, I felt greedy and I thought all my investments would be duplicated at least. Big mistake! Will I keep investing in crypto? Yes, but with a different approach and mindset. Why? Why not..? I think during this life we should invest in different areas, some with less risk and others with high risk. I'm investing right now just a 10% of my investments in crypto, if it goes well, so great; if it won't, well during the life we must learn to gain and loss.And the main reason why I'll keep investing in crypto is because its technology has a lot of potential (just go and ask to chatgpt, lol) and every revolutionary technology brings a lot of money to that space. Many banks are offering some crypto products to their clients righ now, and numerous companies and investment funds are investing in crypto.What do you think about? I would like to know your opinion.
